Procedures for Those Who Do Not Hold a Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

1- Those who do not have a language certificate in Turkish Proficiency Certificate are take a Proficiency Exam in Turkish Language administered by Bartın University TÖMER. Unless the proficiency level specified by the departments is different, the required Turkish proficiency level for Bartın University is C1 level. With the request of the departments and the decision of the relevant boards and the approval of the Senate, they may require a level of proficiency above or below this level. Those who do not have a proficiency certificate in Turkish language are supposed to get registered at the Bartın University Language Education Application and Research Center (TÖMER) for a maximum 1-year Turkish preparatory program until they obtain the required language proficiency level. If they cannot meet the Turkish proficiency requirements during this period, registrations of these students will be deleted from the programs they have been placed in.

2- The registrations of those who do not enroll in BÜ-TÖMER or who do not attend Turkish preparatory courses are cancelled.

3- The graduation and dismissal procedures of the students enrolled in the Turkish preparatory program are carried out by BÜ-TÖMER.
