Admission Calendar

For programs that require special conditions for applications;

1- The Department of Arts and Crafts Education affiliated to the Faculty of Education admits students through a Special Talent Exam. Those admitted to this program must take the exam on the date determined by the Faculty of Education. For detailed information, you can contact the Faculty of Education through their website (https://egitim.bartin.edu.tr) or call 0378 501 10 00 (Ext: 20 56).

2- Candidates applying to the Department of Translation and Interpretation (English) at the Faculty of Literature and English Language Teaching (English) at the Faculty of Education are required to have a document showing that they know English at B2 level and upload it to the application screen. Applications of those who do not upload the documents during the application will not be accepted (In countries where English is spoken as a native language, this document will not be required from those who can prove that they graduated from a school whose medium of instruction is English language).


Documents Required for the Application
The following documents must be uploaded to the International Student Application Procedures Module during the online application. 


Documents to be uploaded in the International Student Application Procedures Module:
1. The original high school diploma or a copy of it approved by the Representative Body of Turkish Republic,
2. Transcript of the applicant, which shows the course grades and the courses he took in the high school, and a translated copy of the transcript, which is approved by the Turkish Representation,
3. A photocopy of the passport showing the pages of the credentials. It must be approved by the Turkish Representation.
4. A document showing that the applicant passed the Foreign Student Exam (YOS) made by the universities in Turkey. 

Evaluation of Applications

• The priority order for the main and reserve candidates is 1-TR-YÖS, 2-Country exams, 3- YÖS exams and 4-Diploma grade. During the evaluation phase of TR-YÖS, Country exams and YÖS exams, the scores of the candidates are converted into a 100-point system according to their priority order and they are ranked starting from the candidate with the highest score to the candidate with at least 70 (seventy) points. If the quota is not filled, the ranking is made starting from the candidate with the highest secondary education achievement score, up to at least 65 (sixty-five) points for associate degree programs, and up to 75 (seventy-five) points for undergraduate programs. If there is a vacant quota as a result of the placement, students are accepted by ranking the candidates with the lowest score of 50 (fifty) in TR-YÖS and YÖS exams according to the priority order.

• In the evaluation of the applications, other grades are converted based on the system of 100 of the Council of Higher Education.
• Candidates are allowed to apply to up to 5 programs, but admitted for only one program.
• The evaluation of the applications for a program admitting candidates with a special talent exam is made according to the provisions which regulate the special talent exam.
• The number of admitted candidates from the same country cannot be more than 30 % of the quota of the relevant program. However, if the quota is not filled, the country quota is not applied.
• The committee announces the students in accordance with the quotas and may also announce the reserve lists of candidates.
• The approvals and rejections of applications are carried out by the International Students and Study Abroad Office and the final evaluation of applications are made by the committee.
• Applications of the candidates who do not meet the conditions will not be evaluated. Having the application conditions does not mean that the candidate has been placed.

 Announcement of the Results

• Placement results will be announced on the website of the university on the dates specified in the following registration calendar.
• Candidates can obtain the acceptance letter from the application page after the online payment of tuition fee through tahsilat.bartin.edu.tr.
• The deposits will be paid online on the in-person final registration at our university.
